2020 Pikes Peak ConCours d’elegance

Jaguar Club of Southern Colorado presents our 2020 Pikes Peak Concours d’Elegance in Colorado Springs.

NOTICE: Registration form was recently updated. Download the 09/05/2020 version as a PDF file here

Our Jaguar Clubs of North America sanctioned show is held each autumn in the shadow of Pikes Peak in the heart of Motor City. Held in conjunction with the Jaguar Land Rover Colorado Springs British Motoring Festival, this is a British car lover’s dream event.

Come a few days early and stay a few after the show to enjoy the many wonderful mountain driving opportunities. Use the dealership as your base. The Cripple Creek and Victor area is fascinating; Canon City’s Royal Gorge is, well, gorgeous; Pikes Peak mountain is captivating; and the mountain communities west of Denver and along the Front Range are full of fun and beauty.

Tourist destinations abound all along the front range of Colorado. It’s a perfect time of the year to visit Colorado in your Jaguar! The show location is the dealership at 565 Automotive Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80905. And the date is September 27th. Additional details can be found on the Event Registration Form.

What’s in Your Garage in Pueblo February 9

The February 2019 Jaguar Club of Southern Colorado event will be a brand new “What’s in your garage” visit in Pueblo scheduled for February 9.   We will meet at the K-Mart store parking lot, 3415 N. Elizabeth in Pueblo at 10:00 A.M.  If anyone wants to meet in the Springs and drive to Pueblo as a group, please let me know.

Following the tour, we will have lunch at the  El Nopal restaurant also in Pueblo.  If there is enough interest, we can visit the Pueblo Heritage Museum following lunch.  The Heritage Museum admission is $4.00 per person.
If you would like to attend this event, please RSVP to Events@JagClub.org as soon as possible so we can begin planning.

For 2019, the JCSC would like to begin exchanging cell phone numbers for event attendees so we can communicate any last-minute changes to our guests.  I will send a follow-up memo in a few days with the phone number of the tour guide.

Please don’t forget the JCSC will conduct the first quarter Membership Dinner at Fargo’s Pizza, (2910 E. Platte Ave, Colorado Springs) on February 13th at 6:00 P.M.
For questions, comments or directions, contact us at Events@JagClub.org.

November / December 2018 Jaguar Journal Binding Problems

Subject: November / December 2018 Jaguar Journal Binding Problems

Region Directors,

We have known about a potential problem for a week now, but believed it affected only a small number of special editions. Today, Mike Meyer reported he received a copy with missing and duplicated pages so bad copies have been sent to the general membership.

Please inform members about the potential problem and provide instructions on requesting a replacement Jaquar Journal.

Best Regards, Jack

Dear member

In the most recent issue (November/December 2018), a small number of Jaguar Journal copies were incorrectly bound. Several pages were missing and others duplicated. Most of the copies were caught, but because of the current rapid mail-drop process we use to improve delivery, it is possible that a handful of defective copies entered the postal system. If you encounter one of these copies, please retain the address flyer election ballot and the Welsh Enterprises holiday gift brochure. Then, contact Mr. Mark Brooks at Graphcom, our printer, for a replacement copy.
Again, retain the address flyer election ballot and Welsh Enterprises holiday gift brochure from your defective issue.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
