Subject: Jaguar Convertible being raffled off for Teens

Good Morning-

My name is Courtney Osterfelt and I am the director of a local teen center in Prescott, AZ. A lovely man donated a 1997 Jaguar Convertible to our teen center to raffle off as a fundraiser. We only have 18 days left in the raffle but I was wondering if you might be able to share this with your club members. It is a great cause and the tickets are only $20 a piece or 3 for $50. The car is in mint condition and only has 14,000.00 miles on it. I have attached a press release about the raffle and I have also attached a coupon that folks can mail in with the entry fee. We will send them back their ticket stubs. Lastly, there is a brochure about the cause attached as well. Let me know if you need more information and if you are able to help with our efforts.

Thank you VERY much!

Sincerely,

Courtney Osterfelt

Show Your Jag at National Honor Society’s Fundraiser at Rampart HS

Hagerty Insurance incorporated a Youth Judging opportunity at the September 6 Pikes Peak Concours d’Elegance. This event generated enough interest that a Rampart High School and National Honor Society student would like some involvement from our Club.

Please review this request and see if you would be interested and have the time to participate in this fundraiser for the National Honor Society. The event is on September 28. If you are able and interested, please feel free to contact the student directly but please also let me know so I’ll have a record of your participation for the club.

Attached to the request is a copy of the original Pikes Peak Concours d’Elegance information memo.

Thanks for your consideration.

Jaguar XE Launched Today in London, UK

This came in tonight from Naomi Epsley in the UK, who will be writing for Jaguar Journal from time to time.

Naomi writes: The column inches may have been all about the F-TYPE for a year and more, but the car that is truly the most significant new Jaguar in a decade, the XE, has just been officially launched today at a glitzy media event in London, UK. The venue was Earls Court – which has hosted many Jaguar launches since the 1930s and this one could eventually turn out to be as important for market share as the Earls Court debut of the XJ was in 1968.
