This just doesn’t happen in a Jaguar!
The next Jaguar Club of Southern Colorado Board of Directors meeting will be held on Thursday, February 8th at Jaguar Colorado Springs, 565 Automotive Drive in Motor City at 6:00 P.M. The Board meetings are open to all Club members or anyone interested in learning more about our Club.
On February 14 (Yes, Valentine’s Day – bring your sweetie to Jack Quinn’s for a romantic Irish Dinner) we will be holding our first Membership Dinner/Meeting. We’ll meet at Jack Quinn’s Irish Pub, 21 South Tejon Street (Upstairs) at 6:00 P.M.
The February, 2018 Club Event will be a tour of the Western Museum of Mining and Industry, 225 North Gate Blvd. The tour will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 21) and we will have lunch at Bourbon Bros. (13021 Bass Pro Drive, just up the hill from the Mining Museum) after the tour. Anyone that wants to visit the Western Museum of Mining and Industry but can’t make the Wednesday event will get another weekend opportunity in May (details will be forthcoming on the May weekend tour).
The Jaguar Club of Southern Colorado has been invited to participate in the 2018 St. Patrick’s Day Parade being held in downtown Colorado Springs on Saturday, March 17, 2018. Car clubs are being limited to 8 entries each this year and ALL entries will be required to decorate their cars appropriately for the Holiday.
The club needs to apply for registration no later than February 20 so we need to know how many people are interested in entering their cars (Jaguars, of course) in the parade as soon as possible. We will make a decision regarding club participation as soon as we know how many people are committed to attending. If you have any questions regarding the parade or any other JCSC event, contact me.
Can anybody help Brian?

> I’m still looking for a local place that will re-foam and re-cover the seats in my spitfire. I was talking to a gentleman last year with a blue spitfire that got both his seats redone for $300 that somebody was restoring seats out of their garage, but I can’t remember either persons name. I don’t know of anybody in the club that can recommend someone in town that can restore seats for under $500. Thank you!
For anyone who may be interested –
I am selling my 2005 British Racing Green XJ Vanden Plas with 118,000. It’s in very nice shape (not show ready, but still very nice). No accidents except for a replaced fender after a pickup truck backed into it in a parking lot. I’d like to get at least $6K for it. If anyone in the club is, or knows someone who may be interested, my contact info is below.
